Staking CARD.CPXD

1. Go to https://app.cardstack.com/card-pay/deposit-withdrawal

2. Connect your Cardstack Wallet and your Ethereum Mainnet wallet to the dApp (top right).

3. Follow the instructions on the Bridging page and bridge the layer-1 CARD tokens that you want to stake (bridging limit: 750,000 CARD). You will receive the equivalent amount of layer-2 CARD.CPXD tokens in your Cardstack Wallet (e.g: bridge 100 CARD = 100 CARD.CPXD - gas fees).

4. When you bridge for the first time, a depot is automatically created for you in your Cardstack Wallet. Any further bridging will send your layer-2 tokens to that depot. Note that you need a depot in order to stake.

5. As long as you keep CARD.CPXD in your depot, your tokens are staked and the rewards are being calculated. You will be able to check the amount in the depot and see the staking status in your Cardstack Wallet.

Users will receive a reward equivalent to approximately 6% APR (0.48% per 518400 blocks) on a monthly basis for CARD.CPXD held in their depot.

6. To claim the staking rewards, look at the top banner of your Cardstack Wallet.

Click on "Rewards" or the crown icon in the top right corner of the wallet.

7. You must register a reward safe in order to claim rewards. If you have claimed airdrops in the past, you should have a reward safe already (in that case, continue reading at step 9). If you do not have a reward safe, the app will prompt you to register for the reward program. Click on "Register to Claim".

8. You will then be prompted to choose a prepaid card. This will be used to pay the gas fee to register your reward safe. After selecting the prepaid card, click on "Confirm" when prompted.

You should see a "Registration Successful" note when your reward safe is created. Once you have registered a reward safe, click on "Rewards" or the crown icon in the top right corner of the wallet.

9. Having clicked on "Rewards" or the crown icon in the top right corner of the wallet, you should see all unclaimed rewards at the top of the page. Click on "Claim" to move them to your reward safe.

A small gas fee will be deducted from the reward you are claiming. If the claimable reward is too small to pay for gas, the reward will not be claimable yet.

10. Go back to the rewards page. You will see the reward that you claimed under Balance with the "Withdraw" button beside it. Click on the "Withdraw" button.

11. You will then see a screen where you can select to move the tokens to your profile or to your depot. Click on your depot if you want to add the tokens to the amount you are staking.
