Creating a profile:
To create a profile, click on the Profile tab on the bottom navigation bar. You will then be walked through the process of creating a profile.
If you don't have a wallet / account yet, follow this guide:
Payment profile overview:
Ready to Claim = funds you have received that you can claim from the Card Pay protocol
Your Available Balance = funds you have already claimed that are now inside your profile safe
Requesting payments:
Payments can be requested
from the Profile tab
or by clicking on the Pay tab and toggling "Request".
Using funds from payment profiles:
In the web dApp at app.cardstack.com, you can issue a prepaid card using the funds available in your payment profile. See .

As of April 2022, funds received in a payment profile can only be withdrawn to ETH mainnet.

Yes, the current cost to create a payment profile is $0.99 USD.
Why does it cost $0.99 USD to create a payment profile?
The creation of a payment profile is an on-chain event that creates a Gnosis Safe.
Do I need to have my Cardstack Wallet app?
Yes, your Cardstack Wallet app is required to create a payment profile.
Can I change my profile name?
As of April 2022, this feature is not yet enabled. This feature is on the roadmap.
Can I change my unique ID?
No, unique IDs cannot be changed.
