# Card Advance Protocol

This is a system which enables a person or entity to purchase the future earning from a merchant in return for a lump sum payment upfront. It's like: "You're making $500 a month. Here's $5,000 I can give you right now. I'll buy your income for the next several months or years; I'll take 30% of it."
