Recovering your wallet

WARNING: You will need to copy down your secret recovery phrase. If you lose your secret recovery phrase, you will lose your funds.

Android Wallet Recovery & Reset:

To recover your wallet:

1. In the Cardstack Wallet app, go to settings and click "Backup".

2. Click "View Secret Recovery Phrase". Note: If you see nothing when you click this button, please email [e-mail].

3. Write down your secret recovery phrase. You will need to use this to import your wallet.

4. Now on your device, go to the main settings application.

5. Head over to the "Apps Menu".

6. Choose "Installed Applications".

7. Find "Cardstack Wallet", select it and move to the Storage tab.

8. Click "Clear Storage/Clear App Data".

9. Reopen the Cardstack Wallet app.

10. Click "Import Wallet".

11. Enter your secret recovery phrase.

iOS Wallet Recovery & Reset:

1. In the Cardstack Wallet app, go to settings and click "Backup".

2. Click "View Secret Recovery Phrase". Note: if you see nothing when you click this button, please email [e-mail].

3. Write down your secret recovery phrase. You will need to use this to import your wallet.

4. Now on your device, go to the main settings application.

5. Scroll down to "Cardstack Wallet".

6. Click "Advanced".

7. Toggle the "Reset App Data" toggle to green.

8. Reopen the Cardstack Wallet app.

9. Click "Import Wallet".

10. Enter in your secret recovery phrase.
